I grew up in the 70's where most of the stained glass art around me was in the form of windows & lamps. These works of art were usually dominated by bird and flower designs.
I have total love for such designs and admire anyone partaking in this fascinating art. I always felt inclined, however, to create patterns that were far outside the box. There are many, many glass artists that create myriads of designs and styles. It is very exciting to see how far the art of stained glass has come!
Paddington Bear was a familiar face in my family growing up. We had the books and the stuffed toys. A few years ago I crafted this beloved teddy bear into a large suncatcher and was thrilled with the results. It brought back comforting memories of a simple time in life, childhood!
